Secure mileage are offering our services for customers who have incorrect data displaying on their vehicle. It is the customers duty to ensure this service is used for these purposes alone. Should we feel at any time during phone conversations or site visits that our services are being used for any other purpose, we reserve the right to cease work immediately. The customer will be liable to pay our costs up to that point.
We refuse to carry out any work on a vehicle if we feel the customer is not using our service for legitimate reasons ie: repairing of digital dashboard due to incorrect data or previous change of cluster that is displaying incorrect data.
Secure mileage will cease work on a vehicle should we come across previous incorrect attempts to repair a vehicles odometer whilst working on a vehicle. The customer may be liable to pay costs up to that point.
Our mileage correction and TV unlocking service is to be used at the sole risk of the customer, we will not be held responsible in the very unlikely event that any problems occur during or after our visit.
Correcting a vehicles data can on very rare occasions cause issues with a vehicles immobiliser and/or other electronic components. Secure mileage will not be held liable should any of these issues arise once the correction has been completed. It is the customers duty to inform our technician of any after market immobiliser, alarms or other known electrical/electronic changes previously made to the vehicle prior to our arrival.
It is the customers duty to inform our company of any known previous data changes or electrical/electronic corrections carried out on the vehicle prior to our arrival on site. We will not be held responsible for any problems that may arise due to previous attempts by the customer to correct data. We may refuse to carry out work on any vehicle that has had previous data corrections.
Once mileage correction has taken place, It is an offence if you knowingly sell the vehicle without disclosing the correction in the speedo reading to the buyer should you decide to sell the vehicle.

If an odometer reading is found to be incorrect, an offence may have been committed under the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 if the vehicle was supplied to you or offered for supply to you in the course of a trade or business, and if a private individual sells you a clocked motor vehicle then an offence may have been committed under the Theft Act 1968.
A breach of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 is not a breach of contract. Should the trader involved be successfully prosecuted the courts may award you some compensation, that being the difference in value between the true and false mileages.

5th October 2012 Our new additional services include video in motion, unlocking your factory fitted television so that your passengers may watch the TV while the car is in motion. At this moment this service is only available for bmw, new range rover, mini and rover 75,45,25. audi, vw, seat, mercedes and the porsche cayenne. 10th August 2012 The lexus soarer and the LS400 have a common fault where the dashboard lights will go blank, we can repair this at a cost of £200, which is cheaper than a £1000 new instrument cluster from lexus dealers, the speedo light sometimes can come back on when car is warm, sometimes its the bottom half of the dash lights that go off and sometimes its the upper part of the clock.
